Giardina Group: excellent results in Fimma Maderalia
They were four intense days that saw Giardina Group engaged at Feria Valencia for Fimma Maderalia, the event dedicated to technologies for wood and semi-finished products which, after the International Furniture Fair Albania and Fimma Brasil, saw the company of Figino Serenza return to the fair again, for what was a real restart for large events.
The Spanish biennial, in fact, had a great success with the public, registering about 35 thousand visits in the four days, and saw peak days on Wednesday and Thursday. “The Spanish market is very important for us”, underlined Filippo Germanò, Giardina Group sales area manager. “Returning to the fair, returning to Spain was essential to find our customers and create new business opportunities, with Spanish customers, but not only“.
In addition to the large presence of local visitors and buyers, there were many “foreign” presences in Fimma Maderalia. In fact, 16 per cent of visitors came from around 60 different countries, with a large component of visitors from Portugal, Italy, France, Belgium and Germany. Strong turnout also from Latin America: an important signal for the rest of the year.
“There was a strong and encouraging presence also from South American visitors“, confirmed Alessio De Stefani, technical sales manager of the Destefani brand. “We are satisfied with the interest shown in our products“.
Also satisfied Francisco Fernandez Capilla, agent of Giardina Group in Spain. “Being able to return to the fair after this two-year pandemic was fundamental”, he explained. “After all the difficulties in moving, seeing each other, being able to have direct contact with customers, it was really exciting to be able to see each other again like this, without the intermediation of a monitor“.
“It is always a pleasure to see our customers again“, concluded Stefano Mauri, co-owner of the Figino Serenza company together with his brother Riccardo. “We have had great feedback and a great deal of interest in our technology. It was not easy to return to the fair, there were many unknowns. It is a good starting point”.
