The “MVT 4000 (LVGT 1AT+2CTL-SF+1SB)” is also a single-sided automatic machine designed for sanding the edges of straight panels made of solid wood, Mdf, chipboard, coated materials, or panels treated with polyurethane paints and polyesters. It is designed to sand not only panel edges, but also doors, kitchen cabinet fronts and shutters.
In addition to the “AT” belt sanding unit and the Scotch Brite “SB” unit, the “MVT 4000 (LVGT 1AT+2CTL-SF+1SB)” features two superfinishing “CTL160SF” units. In this unit, the abrasive belt is supported by a lamellar belt with felt strips and it provides more even sanding, eliminates the joint mark of the abrasive belt, and creates forced ventilation that cools the belt while providing a mechanical shaking action. This promotes scrap removal and extends the service life of the abrasive belt.
The oscillation device ensures even wear of the abrasive belt, with movement adjustment according to thickness.
